Strengthening International Collaborations on Nanotechnology between Thailand & Japan
|
During 13-18 September, 2009 – Executives and representatives of National Nanotechnology Center (NANOTEC), a member of National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) of Thailand visited and discussed with executives of leading Nanotechnology Center and R&D centers in Japan including
1. Nanotechnology Research Institute (NRI) at National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST)
2. National Institute of Materials Science (NIMS)
3. RIKEN
The major aim of this visit is to strengthen R&D collaboration and organizational relationship between the Nanotechnology Center of Thailand and Japan.

Besides the meeting session and laboratory tour, under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between NSTDA-NIMS, NANOTEC and NIMS also arranged the 3 day - workshop between NANOTEC & NIMS representatives on 14-17 September, 2009.
