| | | Welcome to the Asia Nano Forum Korea Nanotech Site | | | The Korea National Nanonatechnology Initiative was launched in Dec. 2000 by the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC)with a 10 Year Plan (2001-2010, 3 phases) of total funding 1.485Milllion USD (983.5 M from government and 501.5M from private). The initiative addresses 3 key areas including R & D with focus on selected areas, Education anticipating short & long term demand, and Infrastructure building including information network and nano fabrication center/facilities.
The Infrastructure building include include a) Nanotechnology Information Program run by KISTI b) National NanoFab Center (NNFC) c) Korea Advanced NanoFab Center (KANC) d)Nano Integration Centers for Mateirals, Processing, Tools, e) Nano Component Center and f) Nano Chemical Center.
